Out of tradition, we impose a sense of the sacred upon that holy night when our Savior was born. We assume that there was something different about it; a sense of peace and harmony pervaded Bethlehem that night. However, that is not at all the picture the Scriptures paint of that first Christmas. This morning, we consider the inconvenient nature of that first and how the challenges of everyday life can be opportunities for sharing the love that Jesus was born to bring.
