HUNGRY

Immanuel volunteers serve others in the community in part through their work with the Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry, Feed My Starving Children, Lazarus House, and the Northern Illinois Food Bank.

BATAVIA INTERFAITH FOOD PANTRY

Volunteers from Immanuel work with clients of the Food Pantry to assist them with their shopping needs and also help process inventory for the Pantry staff. To learn more contact the church office.

FEED MY STARVING CHILDREN

The Immanuel team visits the FMSC Aurora warehouse once each month to help process and pack nutritious meals for children all over the world. Sign up on the clipboard in the church lobby or contact the church office.

LAZARUS HOUSE

Each month Immanuel provides the Friday evening meal, Saturday breakfast, and Saturday lunch for the guests at Lazarus House in St. Charles. ILS Pack 912 Cub Scouts provide and pack sandwiches for lunch and donors provide ingredients for supper and breakfast. Families and ministry groups are invited to volunteer for Friday meal prep each month. Menu and ingredient/donation list can be provided, or groups can select their own menu and list. An Immanuel family picks up and transports the meals to Lazarus House and enjoys fellowship with the guests over dinner. Contact Lori St. Vincent for complete information.

NORTHERN ILLINOIS FOOD BANK

The Immanuel team works the second Tuesday of each month (6-8 PM) at the NIFB Geneva warehouse, processing and packing food donations for hungry neighbors in Northern Illinois. Sign up on the clipboard in the church lobby or contact the church office.
